Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! I don't feel like I can express how much this means to my family. My parents have been waiting for this forever and my grandparents never got to see it. It occured to me Wednesday night how this win is going to redefine Sox fans completely. Growing up Sox fans will be so different for my kids than it was for me! I'll never forget this team and all you've done for Chicago!
Go Sox!!!!!

Thank you Ozzie, Kenny and all the White Sox players for the BEST SEASON EVER. I've been a fan of the Sox since the 1977 Southside Hitmen and have been waiting for the Sox to show the world that they are the best. Now you did it! My favorite team has provided an unforgetable gift of pure joy and extreme pride.

WOW!its been a few days since the big win and im still in heaven! i admit i havent been a life long fan but im definitely not a bandwagon fan! my family has always been big on sports but mostly football and basketball so i would just watch games w/them and ive been a bears and bulls fan my whole life. But when i was around 10 i started playin baseball with neighborhood friends and started really gettin into it.so one day i decided to turn on the tv and watch a baseball game and the team that was playin that day were the white sox. i immediately fell in love! from that day i started watchin the games everyday and followin how the team was doin. i even tried watchin a few cubs games because i lived in the northside and all my friends were cubs fans but there was just sumthin bout the white sox that was so much better to me. I never got to go to any games because my parents werent into baseball and i obviously couldnt drive but i stayed a fan and wouldnt change it for the world. finally when i turned 16 and got my license and so i finally went to my first game and it was an incredible experience for me. i will admit i was pretty upset over ordonez not bein on the team at first this yr but after i got to know the new 2005 team i fell in love with the white sox all over again. im 19 now so i have a job(money to buy tickets!) and a car and i went to the most games ive ever gone in a season and thats 16 games. i shouldve saved up all the money i was spending on tickets but it was all worth it! but thats not even the best part! 2 days before game 2 of the world series me and my friend were determined to get tickets. i was plannin on asking family for money for xmas and my bday in advance and they would never have to buy me any presents ever again! im lucky to have a rich and huge white sox fan as a boss because she gave me 800 dollars up front for a ticket and told me i could pay her back in payments. i ended up gettin to sit about 5 rows up from the field by home plate right about the opposing teams dugout! that was the most amazing game of my life! everyone in the stands could feel a grand slam commin from paul but i was still a shocked and i got teary eyed! it was just so overwhelming actually being there and being so close to him when it happened. and then when podsednik hit the walk off home run i just about died! durin the regular season one of my friends was like is podsednik ever gonna hit a homer?? and half serious/half joking around i told him that he's waiting for a world series game when it counts. in the bottom of the 9th when were tied, bam! he's gonna smack one into the stands! when it actually happened and i was there to witness it, i was honestly breathless for a minute! and my friend who i said that to immediately called me and was almost speechless too! wow sorry this is so long but im still just so excited! i just want to thank everyone involved with the 2005 white sox. it means so much to me and everyone else. i cant even imagine how good you guys feel right now but you deserve every bit of happiness with all youve done this yr. its sad to know that it wont always be these exact players playing for the white sox but no matter what i will always be here cheering for the white sox! i LOVE you guys!! oh and to aj,rowand, and crede, dont quit your day jobs! i was there at the parade when you guys sang and yea..haha! i still love you guys anyways! so with that ill just say congratulations 2005 world series champions!! wow that feels so good to say! from christina in round lake beach,IL

Thanks Aaron for another great season in center field and at the plate and congrats on the world series victory! You and the rest of the team deserve it. Along with congratulating you, I wanted to take a minute to thank you for what you did for one of my friends who lost the battle with cancer a couple years back (he was a teenager from Oak Lawn). Thank you for going and visiting him. It meant the world to him and the rest of his family. I'm glad you were there to visit him and put a huge smile on his face before he moved on. For that I'll always have the highest respect for you.
Well, to you and the rest of the team: Congrats and enjoy the WORLD SERIES VICTORY!

To the phenomenal WHITE SOX...this season has been an amazing one..I've been a fan for my short 16 years of life but I was practically raised at Comiskey/ The Cell so seeing such a momentous accomplisment was truly wonderful. Unfortunately my family out of state last year so we were only able to make it out to 1 game this year (4th of July w/ Jermaine Dye's GRAND SLAM)..sitting there with 3 generations of my family was great but watching you guys clinch the the division, then the league, and then become the unbeatable team in the Series was even better.
Congrats and Thanks for PUTTING THIS ONE ON THE BOARD and making living in "yankee territory" bearable!
Your biggest fan in NJ...

hey white sox players..i'm the above comment-ers little sister and since she failed to mention congrats on behalf of our FAMILY..i'll do it
like she said, we moved to NJ so we were only able to make it to one game this year and it was great..we never stopped believing in YOU so we just wanted to say thank you so much for making this year an incredible year for us and for all sox fans..
we followed the season often changing our favorite players until we decided that we couldn't decide on just one since all of you were great..we've had people knock on our door (we've got a Sox flag hanging in our driveway) and tell us "You call that Joe Crede and tell him he played a great game last night" or my personal favorite "DID IT BOUNCE?" and not having the heart to tell whichever person it was that sadly, I did not have Joe Crede's or any other Sox players number and then just smile and nod for the other question.
The day after winning the series, everyone was stopping US in the halls at school to congratulate us and tell us how proud they were of YOU guys.
So even though WE GONE, we're still diehards and just want to congratulate you on another well played season and a job well done.

Thank you and congratulations. I am yet another life long Sox Fan. Nellie Fox was my boyhood idol.
Do not feel bad that no one outside Chicago respects you right now. Next year you will feel that respect when other teams try to figure out how to beat you.
Beat them again just for the principle of things.
I think it is great that none of those cyber statistics programs can accurately define the White Sox. If they think luck was the key, they are in for a big surprise as you repeat.
Following baseball all these years and the White Sox especially, this team was a throw back to the 1959 team. A lot of the positive qualities were there. The team is also like the recent Minnesota Twins in so many positive ways also.
As a fan of the game and the team, you have made a little part of my life complete. For that I will be eternally grateful to all of you.
Best wishes in the future to all of you!

I've been a White Sox fan for as many years as I can remember. I remember Bill Melton playing 3rd while Wilbur Wood pitched. I was watching when Disco Demolition took place. I remember Tony LaRussa as the manager with Ozzie playing short stop. In all of those years, there has not been one as thrilling as this one. We, as Sox fans, have waited a long time for this. Thank you White Sox for a great season. We appreciate it!

Dear White Sox,
I'm not going to sit here and tell you that I've been a fan since I saw my first game at the age of three(18 now) simply because that would be insulting to the generations that have been waiting the whole 88. I will offer my congratulations on accomplishing this task for my city of Chicago. It's been hard growing up in the Northern suburb of Cary being around the Cubs fans, but I won't have to take any heat any longer. It truly brings tears to my eyes to recall any moments of the season in 2005. I have to believe I either watched or listened to all 174 games played this season, which reminds me: Thank you John Rooney for being the voice ever since I was born and making the greatest calls in the country. I'm glad you got to experience this for this team. I'll miss you. Anyways, thanks to every single person who played on the forty-man roster; I won't forget any of you. Let's set our minds and do it one more time. Thanks again.
Much affection,
Matt S.
PS-Shout out to my favorite player, Aaron Rowand and his great defensive skills. I know this was a bit of a down offensive year for you, but it was a blast to watch you hit and field this year and I hope you man CF next year. Also, your 2004 season was phenomenal, and I have no doubt after that of what you are capable of being and what you are now. Thanks Aaron.

Since I was a child watching the 1959 White Sox on WGN, there has never been another baseball team in my life. I've sat through double headers in 40 degree weather at Old Comiskey Park during the 1960's, and then had to rely on radio and newspapers to give me the scores when I moved to farm in Wisconsin where I couldn't get the games on TV. I've never been as impressed or excited about a Sox team as I was by this year's group of incredibly gifted players. You caught our imaginations and made us believe a Series was possible. You played at all times with passion and enthusiasm. You have made us happy and terribly proud. And, for me, it's been the greatest and most emotional last few weeks of my life. Sincere congratulations and thanks for proving to the world that the White Sox are Chicago's first and best team. And before signing off, I'd like to especially thank my favorite players through the years: Jim Landis, Pete Ward, **** Allen, Carlton Fisk, Ozzie Guillen and Aaron Rowand. And my favorite broadcaster, Ken Harrelson. It's been a great 46 years. I can't wait until we repeat next year!

Thank you all for the World series win. I am so proud of you all as a team, you all epitomize the word team to the fullest extent, there are no "I's", it everyone working together to achieve the ultimate goal, and as result, the goal occurred.
AJ, Joe & Aaron-that is the best song from the 80's, "Don't stop Believin", and you guys did a great job singing it! :)
Scott: You are a terrific player, I still can't believe how the organizations overlooked you for the longest time, you are a terrific player and should have been in the majors for awhile.
Aaron: You are one of the best centerfielders out there, and Go Bears!
Crede: You were my MVP for the whole playoffs, I even had a debate with friend, who said Paulie and I still stuck with you.
Jermaine: you are terrific, congrats on the MVP.
The rest of the team, you guys are the best..Congrats to all of you.
I hope you all repeat next year.
Looking forward to following you all in April.
P.S. You all looked great on Oprah, and the girls love you Joe & Scott, that is because you both are so hot! :)

Dear Jerry Reinsdorf,
Thank YOU! Ever since speaking with you at a few "Chicago Baseball Writers' Diamond Dinners" in the mid-80's, I knew you have always had the same vision as we Sox fans had...a World Series Championship! And, through all the grief that you took from people who just didn't get it, you hung in there...for the White Sox Nation! Well, obviously, the people who have made up the White Sox organization over these many years, they get it. And, they have thanked you in far more eloquent ways than I am capable of...but, I want ti try. And now, all of our White Sox Nation understands what you have done for us all.
Thank you for your fortitude, for your loyalty to players past and present, and for your skill in building an organization of great people who delivered this dream season to us. From the good feeling of the Spring Training games that I saw at Tucson Electric Park, to the thrill of June-August games at the 'Cell', to the electic atmosphere I got to immerse myself in at Game #1 of the World Series...for all of these heart-felt experiences of this magical season...I thank YOU!
My first game as a White Sox fan was as a seven-year-old in 1959, and I have kept coming and cheering the great Sox teams of many eras. And, because of your twenty-five years of dedication, I can now cheer the greatest of all these teams..the 2005 World Champions! It has touched my heart more than you'll ever know. And for that, you have my eternal respect, and gratitude! - C.R. Shedlak Bloomington, Indiana

Thanks for the best gift I've ever received. I got addicted by the 59 team. You all have done it again. Lit the White Sox fire in the souls of little kids everywhere who will grow up with an eye on the TV, an ear glued to the radio, and a hand on the box scores. Because that's what being a White Sox Fan is all about. Thank You Again from central Indiana.

Congratulations guys! I know this season meant a lot to you, and it did for me too. I want to thank you for rocking so much. My dad was a HUGE White Sox fan, and it rubbed off on me of course. My best friend and I went to a bunch of games because we finally have money. The season was a lot of fun, but on September 22, my dad passed away from cancer. That of course, was when you guys were in your slump, and I told him not to worry, that you guys would pull through and win the World Series, and he didn't believe me. I just want you guys to know that since the day my dad passed away, I think he's been up there rooting for you because you went on a 13-3 run. You guys made this year a memorable one for my family and I, and we'll always have something to remind us of my father. And he's still a White Sox fan, I bought a flag and put it next to his headstone. Keep it up guys and I'll see you next year. :)

LET'S GO GO GO WHITE SOX! I hope this great song is getting some much overdue playing time!
Congrats for a GREAT World Series victory!
I was born in Oak Lawn 1957 and moved out West in the early 60's. The Sox were our family team. My parents attended the 1959 playoffs and I still proudly display memorabilia from when the White Sox won the Pennant Sept 23rd, 1959. Yes, many are amazed that I still have it and now it takes on a whole new meaning!
It's been a long wait, especially for someone surrounded by Giant's and A's fans, but definitely worth it!

Congrats to the 2005 World Champion Chicago White Sox!! I don't think I will ever get used to saying that. I will no longer be ridiculed for cheering for this team. I will not have to defend myself anymore. The feat that this team accomplished ranks number one on the list of all-time most meaningful things a Chicago sports team has ever done. I was at the game on Memorial Day when you played the angels and Timo Perez hit that walk off two run single which was awesome. I could have never envisioned that only 5 months later I would be at game two of the American League Championship Series watching the same two teams and seeing Joe Crede hit one of several clutch hits he had in the playoffs to drive in Pablo Osuna and win the game. Now I have been to over 20 games this season and many more during my life but that was hands down the best game I have ever been to. The crowd was electric and just fed off the energy of the team. I would not invest in any championship merchandise until we had won the big title and I wanted to let you know it was worth the wait. This was a dream season from Buerhle pitching a shutout on opening day to watching Paul Konerko talk about how many didn't believe the team could do what it did. He thought about how the players might be able to win over doubters at the victory parade.
``The only thing I could come up with is maybe we'll have to do this one more time next year,'' he said.
I hope Paulie remains true to that statement and re-signs to help defend the title. Thanks again and enjoy your much deserved time off!

Congratulations to the Chicago White Sox Organization for the greatest season ever! I have been a Sox fan all my life since I have been a child when my father took me to see Luke Appling at the old Comiskey Park. CONGRATULATIONS ON WINNING THE 2005 WORLD SERIES.
I'M A LIFETIME CHICAGO WHITE SOX FAN FROM THE FAR NORTHWEST SIDE OF CHICAGO. MY FATHER WORKED NIGHTS SO MY GRANDFATHER WOULD TAKE MY COUSIN AND ME TO NIGHT GAMES AND ALMOST EVERY SUNDAY DOUBLE HEADER IN THE EARLY 60'S. I NEVER GAVE UP ON THE BEST TEAM IN CHICAGO - THE CHICAGO WHITE SOX. I WANT TO THANK ALL OF YOU FOR MAKING THIS SEASON THE ULTIMATE IN JOY ANY WHITE SOX FAN COULD EXPERIENCE. THE ONLY REGRET I HAVE IS THAT I MOVED FROM CHICAGO TO FLORIDA IN 1997 AND COULD NOT ATTEND ANY OF THE POST SEASON GAMES THIS YEAR. WITH YOUR TALENT I'M SURE I WILL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO ATTEND A FEW GAMES IN THE NEAR FUTURE. THANKS FOR AN UNFORGETABLE SEASON.
GO YOU WHITE SOX - 2005 WORLD SERIES CHAMPIONS!

One of my fondest memories was of the day my Gramma sat me down and told me the story of the 1906 World Series when the White Sox "Hitless Wonders" defeated the awesome Cubs team. She told me that it didn't matter if you were a Cubs fan or a White Sox fan, everyone celebrated.
For the three generations of Chicago Baseball fans in my family who longed to know the feeling of a World Series Championship, my deepest thanks and hardiest congratulations. I know my grandparents, uncles and aunts - White Sox and Cubs fans all - are looking on this from Baseball Heaven with joy.
How about another White Sox - Cubs World Series to honor the 100th anniversary of the only other one?!

Congrats to the 2005 World Champions Chicago White Sox. I had a deep feeling in my heart early in the year that this team was going to be something special.
There were also the hard times but you guys managed to stick with it and turned up the heat in the playoffs.
What I loved about this year's White Sox was the unity and teamwork you guys showed. And it helped win important games. The players gave their will and their all to win it.
To Ozzie Guillen & the greatest Chicago White Sox team ever, I salute you. Que Vivan Las Medias Blancas: Campeones Mundial!

Ive been a Sox fan..A White Sox fan all me life.I missed enjoying the '59 series when i was younger.I would have been disappointed, and I believe now there was a larger plan in sight to offer me this year as an entree to a great World Series Championship.I raised my kids right, and that is to be White Sox fans and prepare them for a team..and I emphasize TEAM to win this championship. No egos out there to beat us from within..just a cast of different personalities that truly intertwined together to put this thing in the record books.Thank you White Sox..and congratulations to a great season

Way to Go White Sox! You all did it. I am thirteen years old and I have enjoyed watching you guys play while I was on vacation in North Carolina and Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. I reaaly enjoyed watching Scott Podsednik the most. He was my favorite player on the Sox since I started watching them mid summer this year. I became a Sox fan then. At that moment I became the only Sox fan in my family. Everybody else is Cubs, Cardinals, or they just don`t have a team to go for. Well anyways, Congradulations Chicago White Sox, you guys put some excitement into the Windy City and across the country. See you all next year. Love ya all.

Thank you for a fabulous year. I have been a White Sox fan my entire life. I watched the 59 series on TV and did not miss a minute of the 05 World Series. My wife, a die hard Cubs fan, cheered for the Sox right along with me and was very proud of my team. We have been to many Sox games in the 14 years we have been together, never a Cubs game. You made every Sox fan proud of our team and our city. I hope we can do this again next year. Thanks agin.

Dear White Sox, WS fans and all Chicagoans,
What a way to pay tribute to Al Lopez, he waited since 1959 to see his team win the World Series. I'm glad that he got his chance. To be honest I'm a Cub fan, but I grew up in Chicago and I never hated the Sox, At age 9, I knew the Sox lineup by heart and rooted for the Go Go Sox back then in '59. How to forget players such as Fox & Aparicio, Shaw and Peters, Lollar and Klusewski, Minoso and Rivera, Landis, Hershberger, Al Smith and so many more. Congratulations. I still follow Chicago baseball from my new hometown in Mexico City. Felicidades!

My husband and I have been lifelong White Sox fans and were season ticketholders until we retired. Thank you for this year's magical season. Your accomplishments were more than we could ever have hoped for from such a newly created team. We really admire the way you all pulled together and played good old fashioned baseball. You all should be extremely proud of yourselves.
I've shed so many tears of joy this year! We only wish our parents could have been alive to see it happen.

Thanks, White Sox! This was something I dind't think I'd see in my lifetime!! Also want to give some credit to two players who didn't get the accolades they are so deserving: Dustin Hermanson - When he went down with the back problems is when the Sox had their 'slump'; and Juan Uribe, for the incredible Shortstop play all year!!

Being a fan since I was six years old when my dad brought me to my first game which was a rain out with the Yankees. I have watched the winning and losing teams and kept thinking one day that the White Sox would win everything. I thought in 1993 and really in 1994 and then the strike happen and ended the season. But this 2005 team from the get go was on target to win it all. Every player on the team came through with either timely hitting, defense or pitching throughout the year. May the winning continue.
As a lifelong fan I hope the White Sox organization signs Paul Konerko to a new contract.

I am a very happy old South Chicago guy. I have fond memories of sitting in the left field grandstand many times at Comiskey Park with my Dad and I wish he was here to share my pride in our White Sox. I've been a Sox fan for all of my 63 years and even worked as a part time Andy Frain usher at the Old Comiskey when I was in high school. I even remember cutting high school classes to watch the 1959 World Series....Dad didn't appreciate that when he found out...but he understood.
I can't wait til next year.......Continue to GO! Go! White Sox...

What a great team!!! You guys have played great together and I have enjoyed each and every game this year. It's fun to watch a team that plays as a team and you can see in each one of you how much you love the game. I had the pleasure of meeting Aaron Rowand last year and he is truely a great guy who went out of his way to meet me and my family when my father was ill. Aaron's thoughtfulness was one of my Father's happiest memories of his life. World Series Champions White Sox. I have been a fan my whole life and can't wait to see you all next year

BEYOND SPECIAL
As longtime Sox fan (and former north-sider) who is now in California, I attended as many games as I could at Comiskey this year and when the Sox were in Oakland. But mostly I kept in touch with Farmer and Rooney via the Internet. There were so many great memories of this season, but what will stand out most in my mind is the team spirit - and especially the eclectic type of team that epitomizes Chicago today: Jewish owners, black GM, Venezuelan manager, coaches that included many of my favorite former Sox stars, and a team of all types and colors, including Latinos, African-Americans, Polish-Americans, Japanese, Koreans, and surfer guys. Guys who didn't always fit in elsewhere, but found a sweet home in Chicago. It's a rainbow Jesse Jackson could love, and certainly a team every true fan of baseball could love. I have a box seat from when the old park was torn down, and sometimes sit in it as I listen to or watch the White Sox. As I sat there on Wednesday night as the team celebrated, my emotions were mixed - joy for the obvious reasons, but sadness because the wonderful ride was over. But never have I looked forward so much to April. Thanks to Ozzie and everybody. This season was a true gift that was - yes - well worth waiting for.

CONGRADULATIONS!!! I have been a fan since I was little and then on June 9, 2003, i moved to Kansas. This year i went to all the Sox vs Royals games and i recieved all the bad comments from the Royals fan but i told them to wait and see until the World Series. Now everyone here is Kansas respects me because i am a Chicago White Sox fan and i am proud!! This season was great! I would like to thank all the players and Ozzie! Konerko, I hope you stay!!

Thank you for this season, Chicago White Sox. We did it!!! I grew up in bridgeport on 37th + Parnell, just a few blocks away from Comiskey and the Cell. I would always get excited everytime I saw the fireworks going off because that meant something good was happening. I'm 21 now, and I know I haven't been around all 88 years, but I know my grandma would have gone crazy about this win. It was her house I grew up in, and even though that house is gone now, I know she's totally smiling down on you all.
Love Always,
A Sox fan till I die.

OOH RAH, White Sox! Congrats to everybody in that amazing organization that made it happen this year. What a team. I was born and raised on the south side of Chicago, and have been watching them ever since I can remember. I am currently in N.C. serving in the Marine Corps, but I was able to watch every single playoff and series game, knowing they were going to take it. They deserve it. So here is to our 2005 World Champion Chicago White Sox! That felt good to say. OOH RAH Chi-town! And don't stop that SOX PRIDE BABY! Congrats and thank you to the entire organization.

Many lifelong Sox fans took pictures of their Dad
or Mom to LaSalle and Wacker Friday. My brother Al and
I went to the celebration - we were up front to the
left of the stage. We could not hear though as the
sound system wasn't good enough to overcome the crowd
and too many people were in front of us to see
anything so we watched on the screen. It was the
happiest moment of my life.I had a picture of my Dad
with me and lifted it up so he could see the
celebration. It was like everyone there belonged to
the same Family. We all looked alike - dressed alike
and talked of living our lifelong dream . Dad raised
me and my three brothers big Sox fans. The series was
emotional for me and my family as Dad passed in 2001.
My brother Rick had a Sox party for family and
friend's in his back yard after we mashed Boston. As
we were sitting aroud the fire I took the Lord's
prayer and turned it into "The Sox Prayer". After I
finished as everyone was in a crowd by the fire and
the beer - I read it to them - see what you think !
The Sox Prayer
Our White Sox
Who art in the Cell
Hallowed be thy name
Thy runs please come
Till thy game is won
In the Cell as it is on the road
Give us this day our Sox victory
and forgive us our trespasses
As we ask for another Cub's loss
and lead us not into temptation
But deliver us from the Yankee's
Amen !
For ours is
the Division
and the Championship
and the Series
Amen !!!!!!
P.S. I thought we had a chance but I but I don't think
I really believed we could do it. I thought we would
have trouble scoring enough runs.
Thank God the players did. Don't stop believing - I
guess.
Maybe God, and Dad's and Mom's were upstairs saying it
was our turn. I have chills again just typing this.
I'll never forget this - and I am doing my best to see
my son Sam becomes the the biggest Sox fan in Joliet.

Dear Mr. Reinsdorf:
Re: This One's For Chico !
As founder of the Chico Carrasquel Foundation
I know Chico was watching every pitch from heaven, I know he was in Ozzie's office for every playoff pre-game like always & he was in the press box for every playoff home game.
Chico is a national hero
in his beloved Country of
Venezuela and will be there
with Ozzie when Ozzie returns
home to Caracas.
In this foundation in his name
Chico will be remembered for
generations to come and by millions of poor kids from the barrios of Venezuela.
We will always know the man who opened the door for Ozzie & many young Venezuelans who desired to find a better life and future through baseball.
The same for Chicago and our
kids & grandkids.
Chico was a young boy from a poor family in a barrio of Caracas who became an all star
baseball player for the White
Sox and it was Chico's inspiration over the years that guided Ozzie Guillen and it was Ozzie who brought us a championship after 88 years.
So here's to you, Chico !
NOW you can rest in peace !

Well, this has been a long time coming, and never to a more hungry, deserving team. You guys left your heart out on the field every day. I have been to tons of games since I was only 6 yrs. old, now I am 33. My whole family is devoted to the team. And you guys showed that you were devoted to the fans. I had such a feeeling this year that when I was in Vegas, on Super Bowl weekend, I bet on you guys to win it all, thanks, for that as well. I have been so impressed by everyone over the years.
Frank-you are a great guy, my son got your autograph and you posed for a picture with him 3 years ago, it is framed up on his wall.
Aaron-I'll never forget waiting to get your autograph one kids day, you were teamed up with Carlos Lee, who was extremely late coming out, we were the first in line, but we were only there for your autograph, and I remember you saying that Carlos was running late, and some people behind us got out of line, my son said, we are here only for your autograph, because you are the best center fielder ever, you patted him on the head and said, thanks, gave him the autograph, and posed for the picture with him and my daughter, again this is up on both of their walls.
It just goes to show not only do you have a huge impact by winning the series and becoming World Champs you guys have an everyday meaning to a 9 year old boy and 15 year old girl, who see you everyday, and are reminded of what it is to be a role model, and an everyday person at the same time. Thanks, I look forward to another great season next year.
Iguchi-dude, you rock at second base, and in the second slot in the batting order. I don't think people realize that you had to learn how to bat in the 2nd spot, and you made Scott look good out there, by working the counts the way you did. God Bless the White Sox, and Congratulations on your season, and here's to next year!!!

Congratulations White Sox for doing the unthinkable! I've followed you guys for as long as I can remember(I'm only 20), and I just wanted to show my gratitude and appreciation for what you've accomplished. I remember going to the Old Comiskey to watch a game back in the day, as well as the thrill of seeing my idol Frank Thomas in person at the new park! I'd even changed my swing in seasons past to look more like Paul's!
I was only able to make it to one game this year, a loss to the Yankees. It didn't matter, though, because you guys had already made it a season to remember with your style of play and heart on and off the field. I can't remember a team that made me feel so proud to cheer for that I just have to marvel at the great group of guys you all are. I hope that you guys are still soaking this up because I know I will be for a very long time! Congratulations again and thank you all so much for the wonderful memories you've given me.

I was an eleven-year-old in Hyde Park the last time the Sox went to the Series. How SWEET this year has been. I've been out here in Central Virginia for many years now, and there aren't alot of Sox fans out this way. Watching this year on the internet has been great, especially hearing the new-found RESPECT this team has achieved with the national media. You've turned a lot of people into believers and made this believer a very happy fella. Go Sox!

Congratulations to a great group of guys. I was fortunate enough to attend the first 2 games of the Boston series, the second game of the Angels series and game 2 of the Atros series. I have never been so excited about a game in my entire life. The atmosphere in the park was unbelieveable. It was very hard to explain that feeling to people. However, I did have my doubts back in September, but thank God you all proved me wrong along with the other doubters. I can't wait for the season to start and the trash talking for the World Champion White Sox and the other team (Cubs)at the cross town classic. It is going to be great. A Record for the Ages
World Series records stand as benchmarks of achievement. One however, will probably never be broken. The Greater Chicago White Sox of 2005 will go down in history, winning and clinching the World Series with two wins (game 3, one run in the 14th inning at 1:30 A.M. on October 26th, 2005 and game 4, one run in the 8th inning on October 26th, 2005) on the same day.
Will there ever be another World Series, a best of 7 challenge, that can be won in 3 days of play? No possible way!!!
Enjoy it everyone!

Thank You!!! All of you in the White Sox Organization
Rally Monday at Block 37 was great, boy, seeing that WS Logo, something inside went off in me, I wanted it to be ours. Hoped it would be ours. I had no doubts about our team but, you can never be sure until it plays out.
Winning the WS05, "believe" was "it".
I always discount the Media yet, here I was falling for their reporting, wait a minute, we are Dominating! Is anybody noticing, it sure was downplayed of the fact.
This is not OZ, small/smart baseball etc, etc. This is Winning Baseball, by our Chicago White Sox!
Did you see Uribe! Wow, that's how to play your position. Pods in the outfield, what a divot he left behind, and on and on.
I couldn't be happier watching our Team celebrate.
Going to the WS Champion Parade... I'll tell you, the sea, ocean, of White Sox fans, waiting as I to see their faces. This had to be the best thing I ever attended. I got choked up by gosh. There is just no words to describe it. There was two conjoining factors, you just did not want it to end! Why try to describe it. I, like everybody else could not get a ticket to the WS(though those there Rooted in fine fashion, heck, to hear "Let's go White Sox" in the background at Houston...WOW)but, the Victory Parade will never be forgotten! EVER!
Thanks! Go SOX! and do yourselves a favor and repeat.

I'm am so excited for the Whole White Sox Organization!!!
I have been a Loyal Fan for over 46 years, been to the 1959 Series with my dad when I was 7 years old, grew up in Bridgeport, and have since moved on to finally living in Oak Lawn, Illinois!!!
I knew within my heart that this years team was the team that was going to Win it all from day one of the beginning of this season!!
You could see the determination and desire from all of the Teammates, it radiated from them, in the way they played, got along with each other, and from the spark that was from the Manager Ozzie Guillen, and all of the other Coaching Staff!!! and Administrative Staff that has supported them throughout this Season and prior seasons!!! I received an email from the owner Jerry Reinsdorf, thanking us fans, we appreciate this, however, it is Jerry and the Rest of the Sox Organization that should be Thanked!!
So Thankyou, from the Bottom of my Heart, I Love each and everyone of you as a Brother and Fan!!!
I know that this Team will succeed for many more years to come, because the Electricity radiating from them will Go On and On!!!
Congradulations again,
Sincerely,

Congratulations to the entire White Sox Family. I have been a fan since my father took me to a Sunday doubleheader vs. the Yankees in 1950. We lived in Bloomington, Illinois at the time, but my father had grown up on Chicago's Southside and had been a lif-long Sox fan. I spent many a summer evening in the 1950's as I was growing up listening to Sox' games on the radio with Bob Elson. I was thrilled when the Sox won the pennant in 1959 and tried to emulate Early Wynne, **** Donovan, and others on that team. My fther obtained two tickets to the World Series in 1959 but, since I was a freshman in high school at the time, my parents would not let me go to the World Series because they would not let me miss school. Also, there was the thought that there would be another time. Little did we know it would be 46 years before there would be another time. I was thrilled and excited this year to watch almost all of the Sox' games and even got to attend Game #2 of the ALCS against the Angels. What a memorable game! The crowd was electric. And, now that the Sox have won the World Series, I can die a happy man. Thank you to the entire White Sox team and organization for this season. And, I also will miss Jon Rooney. Please keep the team together for another run at the championship. GO WHITE SOX!!

CONGRATS TO THE 2005 CHICAGO WHITE SOX. IT IS SO GREAT TO FINALLY SAY "WHITE SOX ARE THE WORLD SERIES CHAMPIONS". I have been a White Sox fan all my life and I am so proud of this 2005 White Sox team. It was so great to watch this team play every game in the regular season and post season. What makes this year's team so "special" is that they played as a team and every game had a different "hero". No one player was worried about "individual" records, but instead just cared about winnning the game. This team had so much spark and enthusiasm that you knew that winning was their main concern and if they did lose a game it wasn't that they didn't do their very best because every game they gave it all they had. They never gave up even when they were losing. All the players enjoyed playing each game and you could tell in the way they always gave 100%. This team deserved to be the "World Series Champions" and I thank them for their great season and bringing the world series championship to the city of Chicago. I love this team!! Thanks to Ozzie and his coaching staff for believing in this team and also the administrative staff. This has been a dream come true and hope we can do it again next year. I love you all from the bottom of my heart and hope the electricity that has radiated from this team keeps going on and on!! In watching this team, I can also see how everyone gets along so well and has fun playing this game. Thanks for a great season and making Chicago White Sox the 2005 World Series Champs. Again, I love you all and you are all the greatest!!. GO WHITE SOX!!. Love ya, Ellie Hrabovsky from Whiting, Indiana

Wow! During my lifetime! I've been a White Sox fan since 1937 when Luke Appling was the SS and Ted Lyons always pitched the first game of Sunday double headers! Almost in '59; never thought then it would be 46 years until the next pennant. It's just great! I'm flabbergasted! This 2005 team was just amazing. Offering Congratulations just seems as if it's not enough. As Paul Konerko said, "Let's do it again next year." Go Sox! Albuquerque loves you.

What an awesome series!!! Thanxs for the thrills, the highs and lows. This World Series was an emotional roller coaster but well worth the end result. To, Konerko and Posedsnik: What a sweeeeeeeet game that was. I'm just glad i didn't have a massive heart attack that nite. Congrats to you guys and the whole team of the Chicago White Sox! Congratulations to you guys on winning the World Series. The hardwork you guys put into this season sure paid off, even through the bad times of the year to. When i watched your guys parade from where live in columbus, ohio...watching some of the speeches on the stage sure brought tears of joys out of my eyes with paul giving reinsdorf the ball from the final out of game 4 that won the series, and one of the big highlights being when hawk harrleson said this was the best team he's ever worked for...Wow. This year sure was fun to watch and it is one that me or any other white sox fan out there will never forget. Thank you guys for the great excitement and the memories of this year. Every White Sox fan in Ohio loves ya guys and please stay Paul....it would be sweet to have ya so we can attempt to successfully pull off a repeat title run so we can make this parade happen again.

Congrats to the 2005 World Champion Chicago White SOX. WOW that is still just amazing to hear and still brings tears of joy to my eyes. Only bad thing is now we have no more exciting ball games to watch. I guess I will just have to wait for my dvd to rewatch this great season. First, I was raised a Cub fan and I grew up on the north side. We went to Texas one summer for vacation and ended up going to a SOX game at Texas Stadium with some family and friends who were Ranger fans. From that moment on I became a SOX fan. That was almost 20 yrs ago. My first favorite player was Robin Ventura, then Frank Thomas and now is Paul Konerko.
The addition of AJ, Scott, Jermaine, and Tadahito was probably the best thing ever. Who needs Maggs? And I was worried getting rid of CLee but we really needed someone like Scott to leadoff. And this pitching staff of ours...Way to go guys. I know last year alot of people wanted to give up on John Garland and look what he came out this year and did. Hats off to the bull pen as well. You all have done a great job and Ozzie, Thank you so much! You were a great player when you played but your an even better coach. Keep up the great work. I sure hope to see this team back together next year (resign Paulie please)and I hope to see another run at achieving what we did this year. Paulie said it best when he said we would have to do it again next year so people outside of Chicago will start believing. GO WHITESOX!!

I cannot express how happy I am that you have won the World Series in my husband's lifetime and he is 35 years old. My daughter who is now 11 weeks old has been converted into a fan - has the pink cheerleader outfit to boot! You cannot understand really how elated I am that you have won, because at least for the rest of my life and my marriage and if you never win another game, I can always tell my husband look on the "bright side" you saw them win a World Series. At least now I have my husband's attention until April 1st, and then the drama begins...I am a fan, Go White Sox! You guys are great! Ozzie, keep your head up, and I hope they show you the money! Way to go!! It sure is great to have the RIGHT SOX win the World Series. We have had ups in past years, but to finally win it is fantastic. From the first game of this season, there was a special feel to this team. Hawk and DJ said it but to actually feel it is great. A. J. if you are a misfit or trouble maker, I'd take nine of you every night than one "rocket". You were the MVP of the entire playoffs. Wearing your heart on your sleeve like you did made all us White Sox fans proud. Let's enjoy this!!!

Congratulations to the 2005 World Series Champion Chicago White Sox! I'm originally from the far North Shore and my father is a Cubs fan, but I always rooted for the White Sox. Why? Because you never received any respect from the North-side team and most of Chicagoland, but now this is going to change. My wife, my friends, and most of my co-workers are Cubs Fans. It's great to see their arrogant demeanor silenced. As a team, you never made excuses on a billy goat for not winning the World Series. Other MLB Teams will be studying this team for many years to come. I am very grateful that the 1959 Team Manager, Alfonso Lopez, was able to pass away in peace knowing that his team had won it all.
Thank You for answering my prayers and for making one of my dreams come true.

Yea team - go - Rah! My father introduced me to the Sox when I was still in the womb - in 1958! My husband was raised in St Louis and became a fan becasue I watched them all the time and couldn't help it! I have been waiting 46 years, he's been waiting 23, but my father's the one who has waited the longest in our family - 72 years!

So many great nights of baseball. I think "The Hawk" said it the best, back in August. Night after night of watching you all can get old if your not winning. BUT YOU WON!! AND YOU PUT IT ON THE BOARD YES!!.
I live with a true South Sider. He grew up in Bridgeport, along with his whole family, and has followed the Sox since he was a kid. We now have generations of Sox fans! We took them to the awesome parade and could not beleive the support.
Uribe: You do not get enough press. You are my MVP.Thanks for the great plays.
Crede: What a outstanding defense and offensive player. Scottie: Look how they started losing when you were hurt and how much you are valued since you came back. AJ: Do your knees ever hurt? Way to conduct those pitches. Paulee: First base players are so under rated, not anymore!
Ozzie: Thanks for coming back.
Jermaine: MVP says it all.
Arron: I'm still holding my breath everytime I see an amazing catch. Tadahito: Way to make all those DP's.
To the entire pitching staff: WOW!
You all have great life stories too. I love sharing them with my kids.

Growing up in Thompson, Manitoba, we had the luck of recieving WGN along with several other feeds from the U.S. As a result I fell in love with the White Sox. Last summer I took a trip to Chicago to watch a game at U.S. Cellular Field.
I had always taken grief from friens over my love of the Sox. I was even terrorized by my cousin whom lived on the south side about coming to Chicago but going to a Sox game not the Cub's.
I can now celebrate the victory in the world series and rub in their face the fact that the Sox did what I always claimed they would.
So thank you to Ozzie and all the players for their effort and detrmination leading to such a stellar series. The pitching staff dominated everyone that came to the plate. On offense as a fan you always knew that someone was going to come through when it was needed. I don't think that I have ever seen such a team effort in a World Series victory.
I have to say that my series MVP was Joe Crede with the bat and with the glove you did it all and were so important in the victory. What a tough deciscion to make with everyone contributing there was no way to divvy up the credit to enough players.
One last thing, it was with great pleasure that I saw Frank Thomas kissing the trophy. To me he is the face of the Sox. Get better and I hope to see you on the field next year. There is no other place that you belong.

Words cannot express the excitement and joy I felt when the Sox won the World Series. Born and raised a White Sox fan, I have been with you guys all my life, through everything, and I could not be happier with this year's team. It wasn't so much because you guys were winning, but how you won and how you presented yourselves. The 2005 White Sox had more class, fun, aggressiveness and spunk than I have ever seen before, and I thank you from the bottom of my heart for making me a part of your winning season. Congratulations and God Bless!!!

Thanks for all the hard work & great pitchin & hittin' & catchin' & runnin' & scorin' to make it a Chicago White Sox World Series WINNER!!!!
I saw almost every game this year on TV & loved to watch every pitch & at bat.
I've gone to 10 SoxFest & have been a White Sox fan since 1990.
This team is the AWESOMEST. I've loved all the other White Sox teams each year since I became a White Sox fan too.
Aaron Rowand has been my favorite player for about 2 years. Before that it was Tony Graffanino & then Carlos Lee. I admit I got mad at Kenny Williams & Jerry Riensdorf a few times when they didn't keep my favorite players, but at least they finally got us a World Series Champion & I can forgive them now.
This whole team deserves our praises. Uribe's defense saved us so many times. Joltin' Joe Crede was spectacular. Konerko is one of the best 1st basemen I know. Tadahito is great. Podsednik is wonderful. Jermaine "Win Or Dye Tryin'" Dye was World Series MVP. Each guy on the White Sox should get a MVP...Most Valuable Players NOT Player Award.
AJ Piersynski is so smart & funny.
What can I say about the White Sox pitchin' staff...they were a bunch of aces. It was wonderful being able to count on these guys to go out there & give it everything they had...come rain or come shine...roof or no roof...hehehehehe
Poor Bobby Jenks(my nicknmae for him Bubba Jenks)...give this guy some MONEY. Can't wait to see him & the rest of the pitchin' staff next year.
Thanks to Ozzie Guillen. Manager Of The Year. I loved watchin' him play too.
GO 2005 WORLD SERIES CHAMPION CHICAGO WHITE SOX!!!!
I LOVE THESE GUYS!!!!

Congratulations Kenny, Ozzie, & the whole White Sox orginization. I still can't beleive it. I find myself laughing out loud with joy when I think that we are the World Champion Chicago White Sox. My buddy's & I took a trip this year to Denver to see all 3 gasmes with the Rockies. We met Kenny Williams in the Hotel & you told us this was the year. And by God it was. I've had the magic numbers signs in my yard since August counting down to the Championship. And now the World Series Championship flag fly's hig h on the flag pole. I took my kids to the parade & what a parade it was. Don't let this be the only year. Lets's stay on top. It was the Post season drive in 05 so find the fix for the drive in 06.
11-1 in the post season. Congratulations again to a great post season & World Championship. I look forward to defending the title in 2006.

Yo soy Venezolano(Maturin)y con Veinte anos en New Jersey(West New York).

KEN: RE-SIGN PAULIE, GIVE JOE AND SCOTT WHAT THEY'RE WORTH AND RE-SIGN THE BIG HURT!!!
Congrats again to the team and management for putting this all together and making a lot of fans really happy with a World Series victory. How cool would it be to repeat this next year?
My wife asked me what World Series jersey I want for Christmas. Right now, it’s a toss-up between Konerko, Buehrle, Crede or Thomas. Unfortunately, none of them may be here in two years with Buehrle’s contract only going through 2007 and the uncertainty of Thomas and Konerko. Right now, the safest bet would be Crede, assuming he gets a nice extension (which he rightfully deserves …and, no, I’m not these player’s representatives!)
Hopefully, Crede and Buehlre are getting pumped up for Raider week and a big Chief’s victory this weekend (both are from MO, but I’m not sure if they’re Chief’s fans). There’s probably not too many White Sox fans who love the Chiefs, but when you guys come to Tampa to play the Rays, I’ll be the one behind the Chisox dugout wearing a Chiefs hat and a Chisox World Series jersey, screaming my lungs off with my daughter in support for the guys in black. This past season, I think there were more White Sox fans at Tropicana Field than Rays fans! My 11 year old daughter and I are proud to be part of the road coalition that supports the White Sox and will look forward to the team’s return to Tampa next year.
This past season, Paulie tossed a ball to my daughter at the end of the 3rd inning. Next year, she hopes to get some autographs on it. The ball is on her dresser in a baseball cube. She treasure that gift from Paulie, so a big shout goes out to him for making that day special for her!
I hope all of the above players get what they deserve from the White Sox organization and remain Chisox players for a long time.
LET THE DYNASTY BEGIN!!!!!!!

I've been a die hard Sox fan since Juan Pizarro, Hoyt Wilhelm, "Jungle" Jim Rivera and Luis Aparicio roamed the diamond. Born and raised on the "South Side"! Al Lopez, Eddie Stanky and Tony LaRussa all tried....but the "Wizard of Oz" got it done! This Series is dedicated to all the past stars...Wilbur Wood, Tommy John, Richie Allen, Bill Melton, Carlos May, Lamar Hoyt, Greg Luzinski, Nellie Fox, Ozzie Guillen, Joey Cora, Ken Berry etc. After all these years of frustration, I'm definitely ******* this up! Let's go for a 2fer!! Congratulations to the team...It was worth the wait.

Thanks Boys!! I've been a die-hard fan since '74 and I still can't stop feeling like I just won the lottery. I can't truly put into words just how incredibly euphoric you made me and my wife feel. I'm still on Cloud 9 --- nice place to be, by the way. I can now die happy! It was totally worth the wait. White Sox Forever!!

Congratulations White Sox!!!! It has been an amazing year with an even more amazing finish. I know that my father would have loved it all had he lived long enough to see it. But I am sure he started the party in heaven that night. I grew up in Bridgeport, so the Sox have always been a part of my life. I may only be 26, but this World Series win felt like it was a long time coming and I cannot imagine a greater group of guys being part of it. From AJ to Willie, it has always been fun with this White Sox Team. I was there on opening day this year when it all began and I was at the rally when they brought the trophy home. And I will be there on Opening Day when they get their rings. Looking forward to next season, but I will always remember and cherish this 2005 season! Thanks for the memories!

My grandfather and I spent my youth watching our beloved White Sox together in Peoria, IL on WSNS TV 44 Chicago. He took me to Old Comiskey Park and along with my folks and grandmother had my name put up on the scoreboard on my birthday. Harry with his fishing net in the booth with Jimmy. Those horrible uniforms of the 70's and 80's. He'd sit in his easy chair while I sat cross-legged on the floor with a small bowl of chips and a bottle of pop watching the games and rooting for Wilbur Wood's knuckle ball to find the strike zone. Rooting for The Bull or Fisk to hit one out. Rooting for Don Kessinger, Lamar Johnson, Ralph Garr, Steve Stone, Harold Baines, Ron Kittle, and all of the other great and not-so-great players that ever played on the Southside. It was the biggest treat in the world for me. Some say it's just baseball...some say it's just a child's game. I'll tell you that it fills the mind with priceless childhood memories that I'll carry forever. This year's team provided memories for a whole new generation of grandfathers and grandsons that they'll treasure for the rest of their lives. I would like to wish every player and coach the most heartfelt congratulations...and dedicate this championship to my late Grandpa Luke Smith from Midlothian, IL. Oh how he would have loved this team!!

Congrats guys!! You made me and my family the happiest people in all the world. We followed you guys through thick and thin. In our hearts you are the best team in Chicago and the world. I also would like to thank the White Sox oganization for giving me the chance to take my 6 kids and fiance to the few games I could afford. I LOVE KIDS DAY. With a tight budget, you gave me a chance to save money and take my kids to witness the making of a new dynasty. I LOVE THE WHITE SOX AND ONLY THE WHITE SOX. THANK YOU FOR THE MEMORIES NOW AND THE MEMORIES OF YEARS TO COME.

YES YES Yes !!!!! I knew I'd see you in the world series in my lifetime.Just wish I could have been there. I moved to Arizona in 99 and in2001 was in the stands at the 7th game when the D-backs won it all....I was at my first game in 1959 with my dad and then in 83 winning ugly when all the guys used my products in the clubhouse, and Jerry Hairston was our spokesperson..I would have like him to have helped Harold so he too could have been on the field when all the hupla went on..I hope he is still with the organization.Congrats on a fantastic season..Now lets keep all the nucleous for next years title!!!!GO SOX YES

Congratulations guys. You are the best! In 1966, when I was just starting to get interested in baseball, I immediately fell in love with the team and have been a devoted fan ever since. In my eyes, the White Sox were ALWAYS the best team in baseball (and will continue to be). Living in an area that is Red Sox and/or Yankee territory, it brings me great pleasure to rub it in their faces for a change.
Again, thanks for the greatest present that I could have asked for. I truly love you guys.

What a season, What a Playoffs and World Series. Back in June, I went to Petco Park to see the Sox play the Padres. I predicted then that the Sox were playoff bound and possibly in the World Series, little did I know, they would win the Series. It's been slowly sinking in but it really felt official when my World Series Champs T-Shirt Arrived in the mail. Originally from Chicago, I still follow my home town sports teams, yes, even the Cubs (I was born a Cubs fan), but I became a Sox fan when I was 9 years old (when I went to my first Sox game). Chicagoians have waited a long time for a Baseball Championship, I am very glad it was the Sox that were able to bring the trophy to Chicago! Thanks for a memorable season and I look forward to seeing the Sox Repeat in 06, and please Ozzie, don't leave us now! Stay and give us some more OzzieBall!

I have been a White Sox fanatic for 46 years.I was 5 when they last went to the World Series. My dad who died 10 years ago said I would never see a White Sox team win the World Series. "Hey dad they did it" I have been depressed at every Sox loss and elated with every win. I am on a cloud that I haven't come down from for the last 2 weeks. Thank You so much our World Champion Chicago White Sox. To The whole organization "you can put it on the board YES!!!" Pete Wolfe. Portland Oregon.

I want to take the opportunity to congratulate the 2005 World Champion Chicago White Sox. I have been a fan since the late 70's as a boy growing up in Iowa where most are either cub or cardinal fans. I always loved the sox and wrote to the organization as a child to get a picture of the 1983 team. I bought every piece of merchandise I could find, and never stopped believing that the championship would be ours. Once again, congrats and here's to a repeat and 3peat, etc. Brent Trueblood. To my White Sox Manager, Coaches, and Players:
You are the CHAMPIONS and don’t forget that. I was not able to get any tickets for the World Series Games but I didn’t miss any of the action. While at home with my little brother, who by the way loves you guys, I was able to enjoy every moment of each game. Not only did I get to see the Chicago White Sox win the World Series but I had the chance to share this moment with my family and friends. When I heard that Mayor Daley was preparing a parade for you guys I said to my self this is the chance to see my guys after they came back CHAMPIONS. I was one of the many UIC students saluting you on Harrison and Halsted. I admit I began to cry when I saw you guys pass by. I was able to see some of the great players like Dye, Konerko, Buehrle, Pierzynski, Rowand, and of course Guillen. It was a very emotional moment even if it was short. I can’t wait to get tickets for next season, but for now I’m looking forward to going to the Sox Fest. You might be able to recognize me if you see a 21 year old woman that is crying. Hopefully at the Sox Fest I will be able to see the rest of my favorite players like Garland, Podsednik, Contreras, El Duke, Cotts, Crede, Iguchi, Jenks, Uribe, and all the other players especially my favorite, favorite like Garcia, Rowand, Konerko, and Guillen. I will see you guy soon until then you are the WORLD SERIES CHAMPIONS and don’t forget that. Enjoy you Championship. I LOVE YOU GUYS and THANK YOU for bringing the Championship back to Chicago and letting all of your fans enjoying every moment of it. LOS QUIERO MUCHO.
P.S. Chicago wants Paulie back.
See you soon,

Congratulations White Sox. It has been a long time coming. I became a fan in 1956 when my big brother gave me and my younger brother a pair of baseball gloves. The autographs were by Nellie Fox and Luis Aparicio (The Keystone Combo). I do not know if you remember them, but we certainly do. This World Series is also for them. People would ask me why I stay with the White Sox regardless of how they were doing. I just tell them they do not understand what a loyal fan is all about. Through thick and thin, we stay loyal to the end. Regardless of what comes, we go All The Way or not at all. Congratulations again. God bless and good luck always. My brother Bob and I live with our respective families in Washington state (Sunnyside). Lupe Resendez

What an amazing, unbelievable season! You guys made it for 3 reasons: strength, teamwork & faith. I have never seen a team with such energy, drive and commitment. Even when the goin' got tough, you guys never gave up. Post season games were such a thrill to watch. (I'm almost sad it's over!) No one even came close to deserving that World Series title as the Sox did! The Sox are the only team with TEAMWORK. There are no big "superstars" or the "me, me, me" attitudes you see with some of the other teams. They put all their talents together and came out with a recipe for success. Congratulations to the best team I've ever seen, the 2005 World Series Champion White Sox!! (My birthday was on 10/27...what a present!) This is one year I'll never forget. Let's go for a repeat! I missed the parade.

Thank you for a wonderful season and something to make us smile. You have given what children need to know how to work as a team and that is a wonderful lesson. As a mom and having two boys who played sports it is important to work together. You were all a great example and you deserved to be where you are now. Congrats you guys and I hope you are all back next year.

Oh my god! I don´t know what else to say, everything has been said...you are the best guys, I am a hosewife from venezuela, I don´t follow sports very much...but Oswaldo and you have touched my heart in a very special way, you guys because showed everybody that team work always work, also showed them all that all races can make it happen, you just have to wish it and want it from your heart and guts...and Ozzie, hace 15 años yo trabajaba de guia turistica y unos niños americanos me preguntaron en un paseo, que si conocía a Oswaldo Guillen y Andres Galarraga, primera vez que escuchaba tu nombre, pero esos niños estaban tan emocionados que yo les respondí que si te conocía, ellos se alegraron y emocionarosn enormemente y yo me sentí tan orgullosa (con escapulario ajeno) de ser venezolana...una vez mas 15 años despues me siento orgullosa gracias a tí, gracias por enviarnos a todos los Venezolanos, sin distincion de partidos políticos ni creencias regiliosas o status social, un fresco sabroso en el corazon que nos va a durar un rato largo, que Dios y la virgen de La Candelaria te bendiga a tí y tu familia!!!!!

I flew in from Sedona, AZ just to be in Chicago with my family for the World Series. One of my sisters, who also relocated recently... to Orange County, CA (and yes, she did root for the Sox during the Angels) series, flew in as well. My other sister and mother still live there, as do my aunt and uncle (my deceased father's brother).
On Tuesday morning, we all got into the car and drove from Naperville to the Cell. My sister, Cami (from Naperville) is debilitated with multiple sclerosis so I pushed her in a wheelchair from the parking lot and toward the main entrance. The security personnel allowed us to enter through the executive offices so she could use the elevator. It was a fine treat.
Then we were inside and took pictures of us with the field in the background. Just to see "World Series" painted onto the grass gave me goosebumps.
On the way home, we stopped at the cemetery where I placed a Sox flag on my father's grave, and took pictures. Then, that night, we called up my uncle and aunt to join us to watch the game. It was extremely late notice but they came anway.
I have watched the final out at least twenty times on whitesox.com and I still get a thrill each time because I had gotten to the point where I figured that the powers that be decided to disallow the White Sox from winning the World Series. It still is all very surreal. What's more, it has been nothing short of a spiritual experience for many.
After game one of the Red Sox series, I chatted with Cami on the phone about our optimism. I recall her saying, "If they could just get to the World Series, that would be good enough for me." I think her words capture how unreachable and insurmountable this accomplish was perceived to be.

It been a couple of weeks now but I still have a smile on my face! World Champion White Sox! What a year! What's makes it great is the way we won it...as a team. You look at each game and we had different players stepping up. We watched the last game at home and I sat there in disbelief. I kept saying to my wife and daughters that I can't beleive we are World Champions. Congratulations Ozzie, Kenny and Jerry! I remember first being baptized as a White Sox fan back in the 60s. Cheering on my favorite players Joe Horlen, Don Buford and the immortal Duane Josephson. Loved them all! On through the years with the **** Allen years providing some excitement, to winning ugly and the South Side Hitmen. SOX PRIDE! It would have been great to win it at home, but seeing the response to arriving home at Midway (Tears in my eyes) to that memorable parade (I was there at LaSalle and Adams)made it seem all the more special. This team will always have a special place in my and my families hearts!
Congratulations again World Champion White Sox and I look forward to congratulating you again on opening day.

I've been following the Sox all my life. As a kid we watched the team from old Comiskey Park. Eventually that park with all it's history was replaced with Cellular Park. It wasn't the same but the spirit remains.
I moved to Australia 10 years ago, watching from afar. I visited with my wife and we saw a good game at Cellular field 6 years ago. But it's not a series win, not then.
Years pass, interest wanes, until my visit in October this year. It was a paricularly busy time at work for months so I really didn't know how the Sox were going. That is until I saw that they won the division championships! I was to fly back to Chicago when the Sox were in the WORLD SERIES!!! Unfortunately tickets went on sale when I was in flight from Australia so I couldn't try to buy some.
However, I was HOME with the Sox dominating. All the dreams of a kid with his fingers through the grid in the outfield were to be realised. Like most I watched on TV. They won. 1959 melted away. We won...
I'm back now in Tasmania with other Sox supporters (yes, 11,000 miles away and we are alive...)
I have two tee shirts and two caps. None will be archived, be made collectible. I wear them proudly, my team, winners.
Our team, Chicago, winners!

GO GO WHITE SOX!!!
I want to thank the Chicago White Sox for this unbelievable season! I've waited 25 years for this, my dad, 60 years, and my grandpa...well he saw them win already when he was eight. I look back at this season as an incredible run that has been long overdue. But, even more than winning the World Series, I look forward to Springtime with the Sox. Another beautiful Opening day, just like in high school when I ditched calculas class with my buddies, took the El down to 35th, and basked in the 30 degrees and 40 mph wind from the top upper deck row behind home plate (that's when they still had those top eight rows). That's what I love. The sheer pleasure of watching baseball just for the love of the game and the love of my hometown team, the Chicago White Sox. I can still smell that crisp cool air. Ahhh.

SOX PRIDE...!!!!!!
These have been the best weeks of my life. I never knew how sweet life could be.
The culmination of a lifelong quest for millions of us. I know it sounds stupid but now I can finally take a breath. This entire season we were all on "pins and needles", not wanting to "jinx" things by even mentioning a Championship run.
As the season wound down it was apparent that this team was on a roll and one to be reckoned with. Everything fell
into place and it was the most exciting and unbelievable run thru the playoffs I've witnessed in 42yrs of baseball obsession.
I cant put the feelings into words.
Coplete relief......
Sheer joy......
Shocked excitement.....
Thanks to all in the 05' Sox organization. From the top down you dit it with style and class...Its a stellar off season for us all...Thank You!

GO WHITE SOX!! Congrats to the whole Sox Nation! Finally we all can enjoy a well deserved World Series Championship here in Chicago. Thanks guys for a special season that I will never forget. From the first pitch of the season, to the last ground out to win it all, I believed it was our turn this time around!
And what better group of guys deserve baseball's highest honor then do the 2005 Chicago White Sox? Pure business, pure heart makes this team elite.
I believe that this team will change baseball forever. You dont need 200 million dollars to build a winner. You need players like Jermaine Dye, Aaron Rowand, Scott Podsednick, Joe Crede, Juan Uribe, AJ Pierzinski with leaders like Paulie and Buerhle. Many compliments to the best pitching staff of aces in baseball and the crew of '4' to step in and deliver.
These memories ill take with me forever. Lets keep it together and remain on top for years to come.
Special thanks to Jerry, Kenny and Ozzie for making this all happen. KEEP PAULIE AT HOME!!! ;)

I have been a die hard White Sox fan since my father took me to my first game in 1963, a doubleheader against the Boston Red Sox. It was tough in 1969-1970 with the Sox bad and the Cubs going good. My friends were all Cub fans. Since then the Sox have been a second team in Chicago but lets' see what happens now.

Wow. Here it is, one month after, and the words "World Champion Chicago White Sox!" still bring a lump to my throat. Living in San Diego has meant trips to Anaheim until this year, when we went to Petco and rooted the Sox to two wins, and almost caught Rowand's blast. I said to my friend after that series that this seemed like a magical season, and it turned out to be more true than I could have known. AJ, the clubhouse cancer??? Watching the playoff games on TV, I can't see how anyone would say that. The guy is up on the rail cheering on every hit his teammates got. El Duque and Contreras can't get it done??? I got pretty sick of hearing how Oswalt was the best pitcher in baseball, while Jose had pitched lights out over the last six weeks of the season. It was also sweet hearing the Sox get no respect and then going 11-1 in the postseason. Equally nice is driving down the road with my (old and sun-faded) Sox logo on my car, and having people beep, wave and yell congratulations. They may be bandwagon fans, but I am prepared to welcome a bunch more on the wagon over the next couple seasons. Second team in the Second City NO MORE! South Side Pride being felt strongly in North San Diego!
Thank you.

Congrats to all in the organization and a special thanks to the "Big hurt", not only for what he did this year, but what he has accomplished over the last 16.
Thank you all. And thanks to "Hawk" and "DJ". I really missed them during the playoffs. Lets see about getting them to do next years playoffs and world series.

WOW!!! I've been a White Sox fan since I was 9 years old. I went to my first game in 1959. My wife and I made it to Tucson for spring training this year...our 1st trip ever. I can't tell you what a thrill it is to have the Sox win the whole thing. Congratulations on a great performance and good luck in the future. Plans are underway for our return trip to Tucson in March. GO SOX!!!

Congrats to the White Sox and to Chicago!!! I have been a Sox fan since I could walk and pretty much walked to the old Comiskey since I was a kid. I lived so close. I ditched school every year to go to the home openers. You guys are incredible!! Each and every one of you made this team who they are and we, the fans of Chicago, thank you!!! This is a long-time, dream come true for me and I will cherish this forever. Thanks guys!!! See you in 2006!

To the World Champs, congratulations and thank you! I've waited forty years and my dad and brother even longer. It was a remarkable season from a remarkable TEAM. So, once again I say thank you to Mr. Reinsdorf, Mr. Williams, Ozzie and the guys who made this dream come true for these lifetime fans.

You guys are the greatest TEAM that I have seen. I have kept up with Ozzie Guillen since his days as a player and I haven't seen more HEART or CHARACTER in a manager since Tommy LaSorda out in LA. The team kicked but and most of all since I lve in the Northeast and originally from Chicago, thank you for beating those pesky Red Sox and don't even think about those overpriced Yankees. I have always been a true Wht Sox fan since my Dad used to take me to the games in the old Comiskey Park and since the very first game in the New Park, that I still have the ticket stub from, you make me proud to be an Chicagoan. I've waited 38 years and my Dad longer than that, but Thank you guys for bringing home the TRUE BASEBALL TEAM {Not the Cubs} trophy to a city that most definitely deservedit.

Thank you & congratulations! What a team effort! Paulie, welcome back! My family cried and toasted champagne along with you guys. We're a lifelong family of Sox fans but my dad just passed away a few months ago. He watched every game from his hospital bed until the end. Although he missed physically seeing the victory, we know he was a part of it! We know he celebrated too. Paulie, he saw you in a south-side restaurant early one morning before he got sick, and you said "hi" to him, he loved it! So again, thank you all for the memories and keep the magic alive in '06! It's so wonderful that a TEAM can win the World Series. You've brought back the mystic of what baseball is all about. I never thought that it would happen in the current day of trades and contract disputes.
The whitesox have proven that enough is enough and you've given the game back to the fans and the City of Chicago. Thanks for making if fun Ozzie. You made me smile when you played and you did it again throughout the postseason. Let's do it again next year!!

Ira from Baltimore, MD. Originally from Chicago (North Side SOX Fan!!) - moved here about 7 years ago. I have blood flowing in my Sox veins. You guys brought such joy to me and my family (still in Chicago). The SOX are a part of our lives. My dad has a sign hanging outside of his garage that reads "Sox Fan Parking Only." Growing up on the North Side and being a die-hard Sox fan has FINALLY PAID OFF!!! SOX RULE!! This season redeems all of the painful childhood memories (Dibber in '83, Cubs in '84, the rest of the painful and itiful 80s, etc.) Thank you Kenny, Ozzie and Jerry for the magic! Now let's do this again - spoken like a true Sox fan, never satisfied!

I am so proud of the whole team. Players, coaches, front office, Jerry Reinsdorf. It's awesome and I'm going to every game I can afford to go to next year. I only went to 1 last season, and that's at least 4 less than usual, but money was tight. I hate to lose Aaron Rowand, maybe he can come back later and finish his career with us and win another one. But Thome, resigning my main man Konerko, and Mackowiak, from Oak Lawn? Man, I'm in seventh heaven. It's like I helped make the picks. Kenny, your the man! Ozzie, my hats off to you, too. You've proved to be amongst the best in the business. 2 guys who think like this with Jerry's backing, and this team they put together, let's just keep playing ball and try to set some great records along with getting to and winning the thing again, and again, and again, and lol lol lol GREAT JOB!!! SOX WIN, SOX WIN!!!!! MY HEART GOES OUT TO THE 2005 CHICAGO WHITE SOX PLAYERS AND ORGANIZATION. THANK YOU FOR THE MEMORIES!!!!
It was a thrill of a lifetime to attend "The Greatest Game Ever Played" 2005 World Series Game 2 with my brother, my uncle, and my sweetie. Unfortunately, my father couldn't make it due to Hurricanes in Florida. After Paulie hit the go-ahead grandslam, we were all hugging each other and other people in the stands. I vividly remember looking over at my uncle and my brother, both with tears in their eyes. Then it all happened again after Scotty hit the walk off HR in the ninth. Im a third generation White Sox fan and grew up in Waukegan, ILL. My father would take us to old comiskey. After the near misses in 1983, 1993, and 1994 we finally did it!!! I could feel this was a special season and watched nearly every game of the season using MLB ticket. Not only was it fun watching such a tight knit group of guys win it all, but to watch my childhood hero's coach the team made it extra special. I cant wait to see the team again in Mesa, AZ for spring training!! Kudos all around. Lets do it again in 2006!!!

I want to thank the 2005 Chicago White Sox for fulfilling a 24 year dream of mine. This past season has given me memories that will last a lifetime.
The amazing thing for me is that while it was an emotional moment for myself just to see my team finally win a championship, what made it all the more special was that I got to watch it with my parents (South Siders and Sox fans for over 60 years), who have been through it all with this team. Born and raised in the northwest suburbs (far from the South Side), it was my parents who passed on their Sox Pride to myself and the rest of my family. Being able to share this experience with them is something that I'll always cherish.
As for the 2005 team, you were an inspiration and deserve all the accolades that come along with being World Champions. I have been a die-hard Sox fan my whole life, and this years team makes me feel like I've finally been rewarded for sticking with this team through thick and thin. And for that, I will always be grateful for the 2005 World Champion Chicago White Sox (Man, I just love typing that!)

God Bless you, Ozzie Guillen.
As a long time Sox fan (1972), I cannot tell you how accustomed I got to the yearly dissapointment of second place or playoff failure.
You helped to unify a team of diverse personalities into a tight, focused machine producing beautiful, old-time baseball.
I love Ozzie-ball, and my wife and three children are now all rejoicing with me.
Let's do this again, one game at a time, in '06!!

My congratulations to Jerry Reinsdorf, Kenny Williams, Ozzie Guillen, the entire 2005 Chicago White Sox team, and to most of all the City of Chicago. This indeed was a magical season, and I will always look back as this being the BEST summer of my life. I had so much confidence in the team from the start of spring training that I made a pretty daring bet with my Cubs fan friend. I was so confident that the White Sox were going to the World Series that I had betted a Cubs tattoo if they didn't go!! I made this bet in April!!!, so I'm very grateful that my friend now has to get a Sox tattoo. (And for the record, I was probably one of the few who knew there would be no choking on the South Side) I'm so excited for the 2006 season and all the changes Kenny made. He never ceases to amaze me. His dedication to presenting a winning team on the field is just unmeasurable. So to Kenny, you're my GM Of The Year! Let's go get 'em in 2006 and defend our title. I guess there is a Santa after all.
Congratulations again!

Congrats to the Chicago White Sox of 2005. I have been a fan for nearly all my life and it was truly amazing this season. I have always dreamed of this moment and you made that dream reality. The entire world got to finally see what a world-class ballclub you really have. I have been ALWAYS proud to be a white sox fan and it finally paid off. You guys should be really proud too. You are a team I will NEVER forget for as long as I shall live. Thank you and the City of Chicago thanks you as you saw at the rally. I was there in the crowd too. I was in a dream state but I knew it was true. I was born on the northside and reside in the NW burbs, but that never deterred me. And now, you should see the jealous looks i get when I wear my White Sox jacket nearly every day when it's chilly out from Cub fans. I wear it with pride both in the past, present, and future, & until the day I die. Thanks again Chicago White Sox, a dream come true, and don't stop here! Bring it home again in 2006! Don't stop believing! Merry Christmas & a very Happy 2006!

Congratulations guys! We have been White Sox fans for many years, but after my mother had Breast Cancer in 1999 we became even bigger fans. She had the wonderful experience of walking on the field when it was Cancer Survivor night. Her and my father had such a good time we started attending more games. She passed away last year(from Kidney Cancer), and I know that she was watching from above, and enjoyed every moment of the series. My father and I can't wait for next season to start. We loved giving the cubs fans we work with a hard time! We are even watching the replays on tv and it is still just as exciting(even though we know who wins!) Congratulations again!

Series a true lifelong dream for some
1917 meets 2005, as Sox fans at Game 2 provide link to past
By Kelly Thesier / MLB.com
Joe Nugara Sr. waited 87 years to make it to his first World Series. (Ben Platt/MLB.com)
CHICAGO -- The lamenting by White Sox fans that they've been waiting a lifetime to see a world championship could be heard everywhere around U.S. Cellular Field during the first two games of the World Series.
When your team hasn't won a championship since 1917, that's no surprise. Sure, every fan has waited their own share of time to see such an event, but no fan may understand the Sox drought better than Joe Nugara Sr.
Born one month after the Sox championship in 1917, Nugara has spent all 87 years of his life awaiting a World Series title for his beloved Sox. Now he's hoping that when he celebrates his 88th birthday on Nov. 12th, he will do so wearing a championship T-shirt.
"To win the World Series would be phenomenal," Nugara said. "I can't comprehend it right now."
The native South Sider grew up four blocks from Old Comiskey Park. At the age of nine, Nugara worked at the ballpark selling soda pop for 15 cents while spending more time watching the game than actually hawking pop bottles.
"I had a good time at that job," Nugara said with a chuckle. "I would even drink some of the pop on my own from time to time."
His love for the Sox carried through during his service in World War II, when he would follow the Sox accomplishments in the paper that was delivered to the troops. His faith in the team wavered at times, especially when he thought that the team had a chance to capture it all in 1994 before a strike halted the season, but never did he stop cheering for his hometown team.
"We got cheated that year," Nugara said of '94. "But we're not going to be cheated this year."
Nugara has seen plenty of Sox games in his lifetime, but Sunday night's game marked his first trip to a World Series game. Nugara, along with his two sons and three grandsons, took in the action of the game from the upper deck of U.S. Cellular Field. The smile on his face was a mile wide as he watched the pregame festivities take place from his seat.
"My entire life, I've seen only two World Series for the Sox," Nugara said. "In 88 years, that's a long time. As Sox fans, we got used to it. We would say, 'Maybe next year,' but after '59 there was such a drought that we didn't always believe it.
"Now to be here for a World Series, it's finally a reality. It's unbelievable. It's something I never thought I would be able to see in my lifetime."

Congratulations to Jerry, Kenny, Ozzie and the entire team.
A Dream Come True!
My father, brother and I have been season ticket holders for a very long time. Before that dad treated us to many, many Sox games starting in the mid 1950's instilling the love of baseball in us.
My dad Joe Nugara Sr. started being an avid White Sox fan in 1925 as a Comiskey Park soda pop vendor in the old park. He still attends week end games with us and has 80 years worth of fond memories of his favorite players like Red Faber, Luke Appling, Harry Hooper, Wynn, Aparicio, Fox, Fisk, Ruth, Gehrig and DiMaggio in the old park.
He said he didn’t sell much pop back then but he got to watch his favorite players. Dad said he would have been a great White Sox manager.
My father along with my brother and I and our sons attended World Series GAME 2.
I wish you were there with the six of us to share in that joyous celebration.
God bless you guys and have a Happy New Year. We are looking forward to the next few years of our new dynasty.
PS: Please read my fathers MLB.com interview which I posted on Dec. 28th.

SOME PEOPLE LIVED AND DIED LOYAL SOX FANS AND NEVER WERE ABLE TO ENJOY A CHAMPIONSHIP OR SOME EVEN A PENNANT. I'M ONLY 20 YEARS OLD I GOT TO SEE IT WITH MY OWN TWO EYES. IT WAS AN AMAZING RUN WITH SOME QUESTIONABLE EVENTS BUT WHAT FUN WOULD THERE BE WITH NO CONTROVERSY, RIGHT? WE PUT OURSELVES IN THE BEST POSITION TO WIN AND WE DID. WE PROVED WE HAD THE BEST DEFENSE AND BEST PITCHING IN THE ENTIRE MLB. WE WON A CHAMPIONSHIP WITH DEFENSE AND HEART AND HUSTLE AND EVEN PAIN. BUT THAT'S WHAT CHAMPIONS ARE MADE OF AND THAT'S WHAT SOX PLAYERS AND FANS ARE MADE OF. I SEE A LOT OF SOX STUFF AROUND NOW. IT'S KIND OF NICE TO SEE THE RECOGNITION FINALLY BUT AT THE SAME TIME IT HURTS TO SEE THE MATERIAL BANDWAGON OF FOLLOWERS. BUT HEY WE WON AND THE CUBS DIDN'T SO LETS GO SOX AND LETS MAKE IT TWO IN A ROW. P.S. I GOT A SOX TATOO ON MY BACK IN COMEMORATION OF THE CHAMPIONSHIP AND I HAD MY PICTURE TAKEN WITH THE TROPHY AND ME AND WAS TOLD IT WAS GOING TO BE ON THE WEBSITE SO KEEP AN EYE OUT AND KNOW THAT I LOVE THE SOX AND CHICAGO. Dear 2005 World Series Champions....
YOU GUYS ROCK!!!!!!!
I've been a Sox fan for as far back as I can remember..and followed them thru the 20 years of my Navy career, and on the eve of my retirement in OCT 2005, my retirement flag was flown over The Cell, they told me it was the first time a military member had made such a request... but while my Navy buddies were having their flags flown over the Pentagon, or White House or even Ground Zero... I wanted my colors to be flown over the home of the White Sox... and initially the Sox organization denied my request... I did not give up and I persisted, finally after talking with the wonderful White Sox PR person... (Christine, I love you)... she worked with me and we found a way to make it happen. And a HUGE THANK YOU to Ozzie for signing the certificate of authenticity verifying my flag had been flown over The Cell. (Framed and sitting next to my Navy Shadow Box) And how special it was for the White Sox to get crazy and WIN THE WHOLE **** THING!!! Congratulations to everyone in the Sox organization...
What a great New Year it's gonna be!!

Thanks Ozzie, Jerry, and especially Ken for putting together all the pieces to win a World Championship for the White Sox and the city of Chicago. A life long fan of the Sox for 55 years, I left the city of Chicago in 1966 to enlist in the USAF during the Viet Nam era. I've been in the Washington, DC area since 1967 and currently reside in Maryland. I went to every game I could to see the White Sox play against the Washington Senators before they moved to Minnesota in 1971 and left Washington high and dry for baseball for 33 years. I also drove up to Baltimore to see the Sox play many games against the Orioles over the years. I've also seen the Sox play at Yankee Stadium, Cleveland's old Memorial Stadium, and in 2000 while visiting my daughter she took me for my birthday to Safeco Field in Seattle. It was always difficult in the enemies park wearing my White Sox hat and shirt, but I was always proud to be from Chicago and a White Sox fan. I was thankful over the years to have WGN here in Maryland and now the MLB package the last few years where I was able to see almost every White Sox game. I am now retired and plan on moving back to Huntley, Illinois in 2006. It's so difficult to repeat a championship but I think we have the nucleus to give it a go. Thanks again Ken for re-signing Paul, John G, and obtaining Thome. I'm also glad that Frank was able to be a part of the 2005 story. Go Sox!!

Dear team,
Hi there. My name is Bryan and I have been a White Sox fan since I was a little kid. Even though I'm only 26 years old, I have been waiting for this moment my whole life. My first White Sox experience that I can remember was going to a game back in 1983, and seeing one of the Sox's players at that time hit a home run over the old Cominsky Park's roof. Then, the fireworks came out and the excitment was so great, I got it set in me for life. From that point on, I could never hate the White Sox. I'm still amazed by this great season you guys had. In your honor, I've made a shrine of White Sox in my room, and I made a scrapbook of the whole season. This will live on forever with me, and I hope to see you guys in the fall classic again next year. Happy Holidays from Peotone!!!
PS...I'm also glad you guys got the title before those Cubs did....HA HA HA HA

Thank you for finally winning the World Series in my lifetime. I became a White Sox fan in 1971 when Chuck Tanner was hired as the White Sox manager. That year, he had led the now-defunct Hawaii Islanders to the Pacific Coast League's championship series with the Spokane Indians; the Islanders lost. Since that time, I've been a long-suffering White Sox fan. It was very disappointing to see the White Sox lose the playoffs to Baltimore, Toronto, and Seattle. But now you've done it! You're World Champions! I am very proud of you guys. Keep it going! Win as many World Series as you can!

Congrats on your first World Series title in 88 years. Also, congrats on bringing Chicago its first title in 88 years. Thanks for putting the curse of the "Black Sox" to rest. Let's try for a repeat. You are the second of three MLB teams that I really enjoy rooting for to win the Series in my lifetime, the first being the Braves in 1995. The third team I like is the northsiders. I used to live in the city where "The Big Hurt" went to high school. I lived in that city from August 1991 to June 2000.

Thanks to the entire organization, owner, manager, coaches, players, etc. I thought I'd never live long enough to see it happen. I was 10 years old in 1959, and never so disappointed. My job brought me to suburban Washington, D.C. I watch whenever I get a chance, or visit back home in Chicago. Thanks again!!! Larry Woodbridge,Virginia

I have been a White Sox fan since 1950, so I have waited a long time for this. The only problem is that they waited until I moved from Chicago to Tennessee to win it all. I was there in "59" and remember the excitement then so I can only imagine how this was. A special congrat to a friend of mine named whowas the visiting team club house manager when I was there and he used to work for me at Mercy Hospital in security--hello Vince and drop me a line if you see this.

Congrats to THE CHICAGO WHITE SOX!!! I've been a fan of baseball and THE WHITE SOX for almost 10 years. My husband taught me about baseball. His friends are no longer surprised I can hold a real baseball conversation ( in other words not just give them the score). He's been a WHITE SOX fan since he was a little boy. Win or lose we'd stay 'till the end. So when you guys won IT, the feeling is partly undescribable. Now that we have the DVD's and watch them when there is nothing on TV. I get the chills and react to the plays as if was just happening. All my husband can do is have the biggest smile and hug me while we watch. He has said "This is the best thing since my children were born." And yes, my children are SOX fans. Both my kids first game was at a month old. My daughters first world literaly was "YEESSS!" Both enjoy and participate in chants at the park. My son (4) can even tell us when you guys put it on the board. The first time he did it, my husband and I were in the kitchen, we ran to see if he was right. Boy was he. All we can say to our fellow Sox fans and the "OTHER" (north side) fans is, "Hey! The White SOX won the WORLD SERIES!!!" Thanks for the memories and see you at SOX FEST!

I fell in love with the White Sox in 1967 (when I was 10 years old). I grew up in Glenwood (185th & Halsted) I now live in San Francisco; but I'm still a Southsider at heart.
No matter what, I followed the Sox year, after year, after year. I see the Sox each time that they play in Oakland (along with many other transplanted Chicagoans).
Early in the season, I told everyone I knew that this was a really special team that was going to win it all. "No way," I was told, "**** will freeze over and pigs will fly before the Sox will win a World Series." Well as far as I can tell, **** is still hot and pigs are still wingless. But the Sox are World Series Champions! Congratulations to the Sox! You made us (true Sox fans) all very happy. Greg McKinney, San Francisco, CA

I began watching the White Sox when Chet Lemon was in CF. I always wondered if they would ever win a World Series in my lifetime. Well, my wish, along with many others came true. I watched game 4 with high emotions and couldn't believe the final inning when Uribe made that spectacular catch and that throw to make the final out. My 6 year old Daughter and I are big Sox fans. My favorite player is Joe Crede, who should have been WS MVP, no thanks to Rowand. I can't wait to see how Thome will impact this team next season. Although a lot of my friends are Cubs fans, they will never make me go to the dark side...The Sandine Family, Medinah IL

Don't pay any attention to this nonsense. Don't get me wrong I am very thankful to you all for the World Series win, but you must do it again so I can see it this time. I missed the entire playoffs because I was in Iraq, and my unit was out on a mission for the entire month of October. Most of the time it took a few days to even get news of the scores. So congratulations but you have to do it again so I can see it this time.

I have been a die-hard White Sox fan since the '70s. I have been a loyal fan even when we did not have stellar teams. At first, I must say that I questioned some of the trades that front office made because I did not envision that small ball theory @ first, but later on, I seen the whole picture from a fan's perspective. From the very beginning of the White Sox magical '05 season, I said that if we kept up our strong start and stayed on top, that we could beat ANYONE, & that is just what we did! This team was the best team in White Sox franchise hands down! Kudos to GM Kenny Williams, Ozzie, & Hawk. They gave our Sox a vote of confidence. We proved that we are A-W-E-S-O-M-E! I believe that '06, we will be even better! I love my W. Sox!!!

Luke Appling, Chico Carousquel, Ted Kluzuski, Al Lopez, Early Wynn, Nellie Fox, Carlton Fisk, Louie Aparcicio, Tony LaRussa and others were great White Sox players and managers, but they never won a World Series here. I waited 46 years for an oppotunity to see a Chicago World Series live and I did it. Because I am newly retired, I attended 45 regular season games, what a treat--starting pitching, relief pitching, power, running, great fielding and players who came every day to play/win together. What was most valuable about this team was that there was really no most valuable player/players; they were all very valuable and that is why they won. Congratulations to the '05 White Sox!!

Thank You Chicago White Sox, the 2005 World Series Champions. Boy that feels good to say that to all the baseball fans I know. I've only been waiting for 46 years, because I didn't start playing baseball until I was seven, I can still remember the the first baseball uniform I wore for Boyd Baseball in Visitation Parish. It was so itchy, because it was made out of wool, but I was so proud and so were my Mom & Dad. I wish they were alive to experience this. My father grew up in Bridgeport and my mother in Englewood, as children they loved their Go Go Sox. I'm still keeping up our tradition of the All Star games. My father went to the All Star game in 33, my Mom and Dad in 50, My Dad and I went together in 83 and my wife & I went in 2003. Thanks Again your loyal fans AnnMarie and Anthony Ruggiero.

CONGRATULATIONS 2005 CHICAGO WHITE SOX!!! Thank you thank you thank you for giving me such a memory of the 2005 season that I will tell my grandchildren 50 years from today. I spent my life at the ballpark last year and will plan the same this year. I attended 48 home games without being a season ticket holder. What can I say that hasn't been said already? I gave both teams a chance to win me over and it was an easy decision. Through every win and loss, the White Sox clearly have a better product. Instead of blaming commentators or non-factors for a season, the White Sox win and lose as a team.
After the Sox won the World Series, a million thoughts ran through my mind. I thought of all the uncles and cousins who couldn't be here to see this. I thought of my 80-year old uncle who finally got a chance to see the White Sox win it all. For all of us, 2005 was worth of every second.
To all the players who have gone on with other teams, I will forever appreciate what you have done to contribute to the 2005 team. I'm sure that all White Sox will offer up a sincere round of applause when each and every one of you step onto the field in Chicago in 2006.
More than anything, I'm ready for 2006 in a huge way. It's gonna be fun once again!

It was a true historic season for all White Sox fans,,,and the fans of Chicago. Growing up on the NW side of the city, and having always been a White Sox fan ever since my father took me to my very first game. We always went to the doubleheaders on Sunday, watching the likes of Nellie Fox, Jim Landis, Sherman Loller and all the greats who have come and gone since. They were all the building blocks for a great team of last year. My father passed away when I was 10, so I only hope he was watching as we all were, and I got to enjoy this with my son. I want to thank A.J. for deciding to come here instead of going somewhere else to play your contributions were greater then most would have expected, and that was just the tip of the iceberg,,,everyone contributed to this victory, it wasn't just one person carrying the team, and that's what made this team and season so very special. Thank you very much for a great season, to all those who have moved on to other teams for next season, I first would like to thank you all very much for all the fans,,,and I also wish you great success with your furture in this great game of ours, and hope that all of our paths will cross in the furture as well. I am looking forward to another special season in the sun.

Congrats to y'all in the 2005 World Series Champions White Sox family! Although I would have liked to go to more games in 2005, I was only able to go to the July 4th game, where there was a long rain delay, and Pods was trying to win votes for the final spot on the All-Star ballot. You won that game, 10-8, and much more since then, obviously. I will attend every White Sox July 4th game til the day I die. I'm only a college grad, but what you guys accomplished last year fulfilled so many people's dying wishes. You were a huge PART of many lives. Thanks, guys. Keep up the good work, and I'm looking forward to a repeat.

Here it is March, and I'm still smiling. I've been a Sox fan since I was a little girl. Used to go to Ladies Day with my girlfriends and sit in the right field stands and cheer Jim Rivera. During the playoffs, couldn't stand the guys from Fox Sportsnet, so I turned off the sound on the TV and put the radio on to listen to Ed and John, and immediately, tears came to my eyes - it brought back memories of my Dad (who I am certain is still doing cartwheels up in Heaven)with the TV sound off and the radio on so he could listen to Bob Elson. The new ringtone on my cell phone is the last play of the last game of the Series "a ground ball past Jenks, up the middle of the infield, Uribe has it, he throws, OUT,OUT, A WHITE SOX WINNER AND A WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP, THE WHITE SOX HAVE WON THE WORLD SERIES!!!!" Everytime the phone rings, I still get goosebumps!!!! Can't wait til April!! I've watched all the reruns of the postseason on Comcast Sportsnet. IF AT FIRST YOU SUCCEED - REPEAT!!!!! Will really miss Aaron in center field. So glad Paulie is back. Loved the photo of Paulie with Nicholas with the caption "Designated Sitter". Never knew he had dimples. You guys are the greatest TEAM and that's the SECRET. Ozzie, keep up the great work, keep those men playing like boys and we'll have an even bigger celebration next October.

I've been a fan since 1956 and I still can't believe you guys won the World Series. I remember cutting college classes to go to the games in 1970-74 when there were less than 10,000 fans at old Comiskey. Catching batting practice home runs hit by Joe Lonnett (hit that fungo a little harder than he should have)and sitting in the first row left field upper deck. Yes, congrats guys. However.....there were so many "shotty" calls by the umpires. So SO many bad calls. The Astros were shafted in alot in several play which caused the Sox to score rather easily. The Astros made several great plays, and usually made the first points of each game. It just needs to be fair. We cannot have umpire's who have favorites or who knows who is who. It has to be a fair game....across the board, but congradulations anyways!
